Workshop 1: Using a Multi-Axial Developmental Evaluation in Dealing with Difficult Clinical Cases

Presented by Ronald Teague, Ph.D., ABPP

Every Psychotherapist knows the importance of a good clinical evaluation in dealing with mental health patients. One of the essential parts of a good clinical evaluation in psychodynamic psychotherapy is an appraisal of the psychosexual development of a patient. This is even more important when the psychotherapist is confronted with a complex and difficult patient. This class is recommended for psycho-dynamically informed psychotherapits who feel that they cannot easily evaluate difficult clinical cases. It is also recommended for clinicians who are just learning to conduct psychodynamic psychotherapy. This class is primarily a practical one. Students are encouraged to bring in actual cases they find difficult.

*This event is part of a two-part workshop occurring over a single weekend.  Each workshop must be enrolled in separately.  You may attend one, or both workshops but must register and pay separately for each.
